In the 21stth minute of the game Benedicto Chale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dezassete's Miguel Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Meng Di Jun in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Hodei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Tomás Etxepare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meng Di Jun in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Frederico Pinheiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Almirante Brown's zone, Meng Di Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Hodei came out of the goal and Meng Di Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 齐扬扬 was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meng Di Jun in the 54th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Aristides Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Dezassete lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
