Saul Goodman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa Verde FC's attentive Dario Sustrai managed to snatch the ball when Noel Broom made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Goodman was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Attwood came free, but Feng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Collingwood in the 52nd minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Goodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolay Bonkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Goodman ran back to his position shaking his head. Răzvan Jităreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolay Bonkov was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Luís Guilherme Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Villa Verde FC's Erivaldo Borges to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikolay Bonkov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Feng Chao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Collingwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Cearense. After having played for 91 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Verde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Justin Collingwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villa Verde FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
