Nilson Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Panasewicz went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma got control of the ball when Rodriguinho Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner. Jardel Baggio went to the cornerflag to take it. Robin Sharma came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's Ryszard Barycz. But to his dismay, Ryszard Barycz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Karol Panasewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karol Panasewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryszard Barycz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blue Mountain State's George Popescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nilson Peres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Linhares in the 80th minute of the match.
