Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardo lago kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs defense, Guido Vissenaeken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin van der Sar. The Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin van der Sar should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Guido Vissenaeken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 9th minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken scored 3-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Zrinko Kunštek in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Edwin van der Sar saved Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Lourenço Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Vissenaeken's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Guido Vissenaeken scored to the left of an out of position Edwin van der Sar, making the score, 4-0. In the 39th minute, Guido Vissenaeken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Pietrowicz. A hard shot 47 in the game by Guido Vissenaeken from a close distance when the talented Edwin van der Sar managed to make a qualified save. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnauld Van Impe to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Arnauld Van Impe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waud Huijbrechts in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waud Huijbrechts was slow to take the kick. During this time Brugge United's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Waud Huijbrechts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Edwin van der Sar did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waud Huijbrechts in the 85th minute of play forced Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnauld Van Impe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Edwin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnauld Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Waud Huijbrechts went to the cornerflag to take it. Herbert Pietrowicz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Pietrowicz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brugge United.
