Arnauld Van Impe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Miheș having to interfere. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 9th minute of play. Armada's Cristi Miheș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Armada from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Vissenaeken. Arnauld Van Impe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cristi Miheș made a huge save. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Benkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Benkó in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Pietrowicz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Herbert Pietrowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Guido Vissenaeken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Vissenaeken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristi Miheș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brugge United's Goffrey Sas was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Armada made a substitution. Filomeno Igon replaced Róbert Benkó. After 48 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by He Wei Feng. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goffrey Sas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Arnauld Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The throw-in from Ümit Karan in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Armada's Vali Caramarin. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 61st minute of play. Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, Arnauld Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Armada's Iosif Şiman was substituted for Kylian Henry. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Igon in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Armada got a corner. Brugge United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amine Barka ran over to the corner to take the kick. 80 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Igon came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 83rd minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goffrey Sas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Sandro Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brugge United had played much better football throughout.
