Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Jonas Herz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vince Di Cola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Allan Bivall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sepp Mainville quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Sepp Mainville made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Maxim Tsigalko sent off a good shot on target. Sepp Mainville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Tsigalko went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 33rd minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Jan Giacomozzi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gilles Clerc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Herz to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sepp Mainville showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Monney in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Herz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Di Cola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Esbjörn Hultstrand hit a great ball. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 93rd minute of play. The Zelg FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
