Lucas Savenije made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 5th minute of play. Lucas Savenije showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Allan Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije did a great save. In the 12thth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Samurai booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Di Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Mian, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lucas Savenije took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Pagliarini to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Lucas Savenije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gonzo Style f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samurai were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Wu Qi made the kick off in the second half. Samurai's Rutger Vallander quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cesare Di Loreto, made in the 50th minute of the game. 51 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wu Qi. Allan Bivall made a great header on Samurai's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo Style f.c's zone, Wu Qi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Savenije came out of the goal and Wu Qi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Samurai players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
