In the 8thth minute of the game Kuido Suursaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Claus Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Iezzi. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Varan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Serge Tomasini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Tomasini to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Bruno Scibilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zelg FC's Jan Giacomozzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raphael Varan in the 24 minute of the game. PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save PomeziaRamblers from getting a goal against them. In the 28th match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bieber to maneuver through the defense. Kuido Suursaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sepp Mainville having to interfere. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuido Suursaar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 40th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jonas Herz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot. Claus Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Sepp Mainville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Haavel in the 59th minute. If Kuido Suursaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Irwin Monney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zelg FC and the PomeziaRamblers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irwin Monney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonas Herz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Herz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claus Himschoot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bruno Scibilia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sepp Mainville saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sepp Mainville came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by PomeziaRamblers's Bruno Scibilia. But to his dismay, Bruno Scibilia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 78th minute Bruno Scibilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Clerc in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuido Suursaar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Sepp Mainville when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Raphael Varan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PomeziaRamblers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zelg FC the free kick. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Varan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
