Despite this Paulin Sequeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Suarez in the 18th minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Olazabala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Mete y Raspa FC got a freekick which was hit by Tano Roncal. When Andres Marines came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Vanadio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Marines couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Mete y Raspa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Olveira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
