After taking down the ball on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner Eustaquio Fortun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angel Xabel quite easily take care of the ball. Angel Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Judas Verón went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bernardo Raggio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Oinaz in the 14th minute. Eustacio Dolfo made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alfredo Di Marco however managed to control. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Xabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Judas Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Eustacio Dolfo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Angel Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the POSSE 1911 FC defense, Judas Verón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Xabel. The POSSE 1911 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Xabel should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Bernardo Raggio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in POSSE 1911 FC's zone, Judas Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Xabel came out of the goal and Judas Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Oinaz came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Oinaz in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Lundgren came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Judas Verón in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Xabel saved POSSE 1911 FC from getting behind. Eustaquio Fortun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eustaquio Fortun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but POSSE 1911 FC's Angel Xabel did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Judas Verón in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Xabel saved POSSE 1911 FC from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Judas Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Iulian Ilinca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Alfredo Di Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Lukas Lundgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukas Lundgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. With an all-out effort, Belgrano de Pibasog's Angel Xabel threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Ilinca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Honorato Jerrold made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by POSSE 1911 FC's Eustacio Dolfo. POSSE 1911 FC's Angel Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Ilinca in the 95th minute of play. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
