With an all-out effort, Black Rose 1979's Lucio Afonso threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldemar Matorin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Berriotxoa got free with Lucio Afonso in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match Black Rose 1979 got a corner. TALLERES DE CBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Black Rose 1979's corner Éder Neto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucio Afonso quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Berriotxoa in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Afonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Sugoi in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Victor Bermudez made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Black Rose 1979's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Bernard came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Black Rose 1979 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TALLERES DE CBA were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Bernard to make the kick off. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Sugoi in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, TALLERES DE CBA's Jeremias Sugoi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Bernard. 59 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pika notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, TALLERES DE CBA's Victor Bermudez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Josué Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Sugoi in the 94th minute of play. TALLERES DE CBA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
