Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Villalaz came free, but Waldir Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match ORION F.C. got a corner. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dé Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Waldir Araújo did a great save. After the first half ORION F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Lamberto to make the kick off. Placido Montay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadhyan Rudrappa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pascual Lamberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dadhyan Rudrappa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C. S. Peron y Belgrano were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after ORION F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Cordarrol took the corner. Dadhyan Rudrappa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. S. Peron y Belgrano. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Azeredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The C. S. Peron y Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ORION F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
