Tadeo Quilino started the match with the kick off. ORION F.C.'s Juarês Pires managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremias Hitz in the 3 minute of the game. Tadeo Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Villalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Loco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Pedro Villalaz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco. Leonardo Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niceto Sabin lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of Atlético Matorrales:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 17 minutes Atlético Matorrales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Orozco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ORION F.C.'s corner Felipe Orozco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonardo Loco quite easily take care of the ball. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Villalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Loco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Villalaz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Loco saved Atlético Matorrales from getting behind. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pedro Villalaz sped through Atlético Matorrales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Loco. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Matorrales's zone, Pedro Villalaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Loco came out of the goal and Pedro Villalaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pedro Villalaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loco was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Pedro Villalaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 41st minute of play. Kosin Rumbiak kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético Matorrales booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Villalaz made a kick off. Leonardo Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Villalaz's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Pedro Villalaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Loco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Villalaz ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Villalaz came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, ORION F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Pinilla to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Matorrales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Orozco was slow to take the kick. During this time ORION F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Felipe Orozco made a great header on ORION F.C.'s corner, it was just that Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco managed to reach the ball for a save. 80 minutes into the match, Diego Leocadio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dadhyan Rudrappa, 3-1. ORION F.C.'s attentive Juarês Pires managed to snatch the ball when Severiano Ebardo made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 84th minute of play. ORION F.C. were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Atlético Matorrales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Orozco took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Villalaz in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
