He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Andes FC - FSCMZ reached it. If André Balada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Caetano Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo do Nascimento in the 17th minute of play. Paulão Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Paraíba got a free kick in the 20th minute. Benedito Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Zeca Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Bastos. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
