Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) MONTANHA's Tostão Munhoz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olívio Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Sarmento having to make a save. In the 8th minute Natanael Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Olívio Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Agroboys SM - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Simões to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Renatinho Sousa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Renatinho Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Natanael Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agroboys SM - CIMZ and the MONTANHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Válbson Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Sílvio Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Silveira was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Dida Pires capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dida Pires really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

In the 57th minute, MONTANHA's Raimundo de Carvalho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raimundo de Carvalho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MONTANHA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raimundo de Carvalho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 57 minutes into the game, one of MONTANHA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sílvio Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Sousa in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Natanael Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Sarmento. That made the score 1-2 after 67 minutes of play. With a little luck, MONTANHA's Sílvio Sarmento got control of the ball when Válbson Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MONTANHA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dida Faria hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Tostão Munhoz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Dorival Silveira. Dorival Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MONTANHA booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Valdomiro Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Sarmento having to interfere. Tostão Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Dida Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the MONTANHA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
