The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mosqueteiros 4EVER booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Samuca da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Renan de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seterma Tractors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manoel Prestes in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Seterma Tractors's corner Márcio Fernandes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuca da Costa quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Fontes in the 14th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Samuca da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Mathias Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seterma Tractors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Márcio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Geraldo Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seterma Tractors the free kick. After 25 played minutes Mosqueteiros 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Pires. Samuca da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuca da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Mathias Fontes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Samuca da Costa. Samuca da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Mathias Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuca da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Oséas de Castro made the kick off in the second half. Oséas de Castro, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luiz Novaes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Samuca da Costa got control of the ball when Márcio Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Mathias Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuca da Costa, 0-4. If Oséas de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Seterma Tractors getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Geovânio de Senna hit a great ball. Samuca da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Oséas de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovânio de Senna during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Seterma Tractors's Mathias Fontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Samuca da Costa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Márcio Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Seterma Tractors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
