After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Durvalino Travassos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Emerson Chaves came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's César Cardozo. But to his dismay, César Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emerson Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Miranda in the 78th minute of play. When Guilherme Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Guilherme Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute Lamine Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Simões was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lamine Xande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 93 minute of play. Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamine Xande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Joinville - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
