The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Jurassic Monsters SA got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Alvarenga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Leão got free with Lucas Pirani in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fabiano Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Lucas Pirani made a huge save. Wiliam Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Luís Paulo Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Pirani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Luís Paulo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurassic Monsters SA were furious when Dedé Vaz was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jurassic Monsters SA! Luís Paulo Ferreira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 38th match minute, Jurassic Monsters SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Jurassic Monsters SA's Lucas Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 41st minute of play. In the 48th minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Leão made the kick off in the second half. When Wiliam Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurassic Monsters SA's protests and gave Wiliam Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Paulo Ferreira scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Ferreira came free, but Lucas Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jurassic Monsters SA defense, Luiz Fabiano Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Pirani. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Pirani should have stopped the shot. Jurassic Monsters SA's Lucas Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 68th minute of play. Luís Paulo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Pirani having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 77th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Lucas Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Pirani. Jurassic Monsters SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Paulo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lucas Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joinville City - FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
