Matías Lima was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Pedro Luís Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Luís Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Viana got free with Matías Lima in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matías Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Matías Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Zonta in the 26th minute. When Dorival Viana came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Red John fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Viana couldn't finish the play. Matías Lima stood somewhat misplaced when Dorival Viana came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. In the 43rd minute Pedro Luís Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Luís Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matías Lima. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luís Lima to make the kick off. Matías Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio de Lima in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Inácio de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Matías Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruninho Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mitnarotov FC's Bruninho Carvalho got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Red John's Dorival Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Matías Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Lima went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Red John's Breno Ceresso got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes Red John got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Paraense. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Pedro Luís Lima put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matías Lima. In the 89thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mitnarotov FC's Matías Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Viana came free, but Matías Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Red John were the better team. Red John's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
