Pedro Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Endrick Joinvilense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Zonta having to make a save. Pedro Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Mandrak in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Cristiano Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 53rd minute, Roberto-Carlos Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pura Arte F.C's Pedro Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endrick Joinvilense in the 59th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Neymar Joinvilense made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville City - FSCMZ's Neymar Joinvilense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Zonta. That made the score 1-4 after 66 minutes of play. Pedro Zonta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After some careless play in the Pura Arte F.C defense, Neymar Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Zonta. The Pura Arte F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Zonta should have stopped the shot. Neymar Joinvilense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Pedro Zonta made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Pedro Zonta made a huge save. Pedro Zonta was a little too slow when Elivélton Palmeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-8. In the 94th minute, Nestor Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Neymar Joinvilense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Zonta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joinville City - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
