Falcão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Alagoano in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Mattos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as LauerArmy's Rony Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horácio da Cunha. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Horácio da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alex Fantini hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Hélder dos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horácio da Cunha. Hélder dos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Jardel got free with Horácio da Cunha in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Hélder dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LauerArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Romeu Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio da Cunha. ROSÁRIO SPORT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeu Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Brasil made a kick off. Horácio da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Jardel in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Manoel Costa hit a great ball. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Pedrão Porto got a free kick in the 84th minute. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Horácio da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Mattos in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Brasil to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ROSÁRIO SPORT's zone, Paulo Jardel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horácio da Cunha came out of the goal and Paulo Jardel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Freire in the 91st minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Horácio da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horácio da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Paulo Jardel scored 10-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
