Alberto Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Vander's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandelocos's Manoel Loureiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Luiz das Neves. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 20th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Alberto Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Ulisses Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Jorginho Trancoso notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Litoral EC - CIMZ's Sílvio Luiz das Neves. Sílvio Luiz das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Trancoso in the 28th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ricardinho Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Palmeira was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, José Paulo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bandelocos's Alberto Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 37th minute of play. Régis Abraão lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Bandelocos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 41 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Cerezo who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Eliseu Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manoel Loureiro made the kick off in the second half. If Eliseu Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Tony Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Munhoz in the 62nd minute of play. When Jorginho Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandelocos's protests and gave Jorginho Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Palmeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eriberto Cerezo. Sílvio Luiz das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Loureiro in the 86th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cabral in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jorge Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 91st minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Alberto Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandelocos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
