In the 10th minute, Giuseppe Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marco Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Sanches hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Fontes in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Paulo Pontes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Geovanni Zonta, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Christiano Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Telmo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder dos Santos came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder dos Santos scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Guga Freire. But to his dismay, Guga Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 54th minute, Guga Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Inácio Pinheiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. Christiano Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Geraldo Eger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Falcão Cabral. LauerArmy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Telmo Madureira was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Hélder dos Santos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hélder dos Santos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a little luck, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira got control of the ball when Christiano Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Telmo Madureira was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Paulo Jardel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Jardel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in E.C 2 Janeiro RS's zone, Ismael Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal and Ismael Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Guga Freire dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Madureira, 0-6. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ismael Mattos hit a great ball. Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Freire in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Paulo Jardel put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Telmo Madureira. When the match was over LauerArmy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E.C 2 Janeiro RS throughout the match.
