In the 7th minute, Honorato Calado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Caetano Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Malheiro in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Valladares saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Gentil Vasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agostinho Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Gentil Vasques came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentil Vasques couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Severino Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Moita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Mello to maneuver through the defense. Alexandrino Bessa, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Ronaldão Mello got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Alexandrino Bessa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Valladares skillfully saved the ball. Claudinho Valladares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gentil Vasques in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Gentil Vasques notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BMB IMOVEIS SC's Claudinho Valladares. Claudinho Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho Valladares was a little too slow when Álvaro Malheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-3. Moisés de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Moita having to interfere. Gentil Vasques succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 88th playminute. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Claudinho Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Calado in the 94th minute of play. Álvaro Malheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Valladares came out and tried to block the shot, but Álvaro Malheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 96th minute. SC Braga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
