In the 48th minute Eusébio Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floresta Negra FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marquinhos Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Mello. After 61 played minutes, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Marquinhos Sousa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir Carneiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DIPLOMATA FC PAB reached it. Claudinei Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Eusébio Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Artur Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIPLOMATA FC PAB's protests and gave Artur Gerber a yellow card for diving instead.
