The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Téo Magalhães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caco Mattos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, César Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's supporters rose to their feet, but César Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ booed when Diamante Negro DK - VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Mattos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Yuri Mazza's late challenge caught a ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Yuri Mazza got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Cruz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Mattos saved Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting behind. After 28 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz de Sousa. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Caco Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Cruz in the 32nd minute of play. Caco Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Cruz in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Telmo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamante Negro DK - VV's Caco Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Geovani Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Téo Magalhães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caco Mattos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ reached it. After having played for 44 minutes, Oswaldo Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alexandre Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Caco Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Cruz in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, one of Diamante Negro DK - VV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diamante Negro DK - VV. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ. Téo Magalhães stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Caco Mattos. 0-3. The supporters of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ booed when Diamante Negro DK - VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Didi Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 80th minute, Rui Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Dionísio got free with Caco Mattos in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Caco Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting a goal against them. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caco Mattos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caco Mattos stood somewhat misplaced when Telmo Cruz came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 96 minute.
