The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 17 minutes, Elias Damasceno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the DIPLOMATA FC PAB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Damasceno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Agostinho Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Pedrinho Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Alagoano. If Agostinho Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedrinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Alagoano got free with Pedrinho Sergipano in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano got control of the ball when Eliseu Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Damasceno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrinho Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano. Pedrinho Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Damasceno made a kick off. In the 59th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Damasceno to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Samuel Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 卡納里尼奧 FC the free kick. Samuel Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Elias Damasceno struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Pedrinho Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 卡納里尼奧 FC. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Armandinho Pombal replaced Régis Vides. In the 74th minute, Cléberson Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Samuel Palmeira hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Elias Damasceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseu Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Amílton Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Elias Damasceno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Agostinho Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Elias Damasceno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Sergipano having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 卡納里尼奧 FC fully deserved thier win.
