Konrad Ziemniak charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rareș Hănescu in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Rareș Hănescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach did a great save. Papo Roach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 22nd minute of play. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Papo Roach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the game Konrad Ziemniak made a throw-in which Jannik Roblaa played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wagner Doro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papo Roach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Cănănău hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Geamănu. 47 minutes into the game, Honorio Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Navigatii Bacău's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. Honorio Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Hănescu came free, but Papo Roach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jannik Roblaa to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Navigatii Bacău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Brun to maneuver through the defense. Igor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannik Roblaa in the 55th minute of the match. Konrad Ziemniak hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Papo Roach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Papo Roach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 64th minute of play. Karl-Michael Brask struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Papo Roach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. If Jannik Roblaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Jannik Roblaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Michael Brask scored 0-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Papo Roach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Michael Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Papo Roach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Brask got free with Papo Roach in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Michael Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Papo Roach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Mirciu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Blagoy Doro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Michael Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ionuț Contra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti played a much better game than Navigatii Bacău and deserved their victory. The Navigatii Bacău players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
