Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dragoş Oloieru started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, one of Rasnita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rasnita. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Remus Maleș hit a great ball. Ion Ţeica charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Ţeica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosif Doicaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Victor Ciociu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Ciociu was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Iosif Doicaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iosif Doicaru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dragoş Oloieru hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Progresul Pitesti from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Costică Lupeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Iosif Doicaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Ciociu. The goal made the score 2-0. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Manafu in the 26th minute of play. The corner led Progresul Pitesti's Aristide Cordescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Hogaș despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iosif Doicaru took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Ciociu. Victor Ciociu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Lucian Panțuru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Hogaș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Progresul Pitesti were awarded a corner. Aristide Cordescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Progresul Pitesti's Lucian Panțuru to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Hogaș despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Rasnita's Iosif Doicaru in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. Iosif Doicaru hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, Iosif Doicaru lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Victor Ciociu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iosif Doicaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iosif Doicaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ciociu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Stoiciu in the 60th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lucian Panțuru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresul Pitesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Panțuru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Hogaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Remus Maleș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Iosif Doicaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasnita's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Doicaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ciociu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Iosif Doicaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Ciociu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Gheorghe Stoiciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ciociu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Iosif Doicaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iosif Doicaru in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Ciociu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Doicaru in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, one of Progresul Pitesti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Horaţiu Manafu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Victor Ciociu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gheorghe Stoiciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Iosif Doicaru elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Doicaru in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Ciociu saved Progresul Pitesti from getting behind. There was no doubt that Rasnita were the better team. Rasnita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
