In the 6th minute, Calistrat Bucuță made a precise shot to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dumitru Surdu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, DINAMO's Henric Casas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wojtek Szczęsny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Calistrat Bucuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hrvoje Prodanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horea Hurmuzache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Bucuță's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Horea Hurmuzache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Castel in the 22nd minute. Braulio Castel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horea Hurmuzache firmly grabbed it by the left post. Horea Hurmuzache had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Calistrat Bucuță from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Calistrat Bucuță sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Calistrat Bucuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Calistrat Bucuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hrvoje Prodanović in the 35th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calistrat Bucuță got free with Horea Hurmuzache in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Bucuță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Hurmuzache having to make a save.

Calistrat Bucuță might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Hurmuzache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calistrat Bucuță ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Bucuță in the 52nd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hrvoje Prodanović kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Sandu Brădescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of DINAMO booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistrat Bucuță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Hurmuzache having to make a save. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Bucuță in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, János Csongrádi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.BARLAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. In the 63rd minute, János Csongrádi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Hurmuzache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Bucuță went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calistrat Bucuță in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Bucuță in the 89th minute of the match. F.C.BARLAD were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after DINAMO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Surdu took the corner. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Sandu Brădescu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ryszard Borcz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Wojtek Szczęsny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C.BARLAD had won after a very even match.
