Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anísio Queirós started the match with the kick off. Loramendi Cabarcos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florian Capasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Capasso. Florian Capasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loramendi Cabarcos came out and tried to block the shot, but Florian Capasso slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Bebeto Sarmento threw the ball into play from the sideline. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fábio Trevisan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Florian Capasso in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loramendi Cabarcos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 29 played minutes E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Sarmento. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Capasso got free with Loramendi Cabarcos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Meleșcanu made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedrinho Paranaense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Paranaense got free with Loramendi Cabarcos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Merusca F&P - CIMZ's corner Fellipe Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loramendi Cabarcos quite easily take care of the ball. If Florian Capasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neymar Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Capasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loramendi Cabarcos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The throw-in from Fábio Trevisan in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Elazar Larraín. Loramendi Cabarcos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Capasso's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Florian Capasso made the kick off in the second half. Florian Capasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loramendi Cabarcos having to make a save. In the 53rd minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Cabarcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Florian Capasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Capasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Vihar Perchemliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vihar Perchemliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rafael Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loramendi Cabarcos was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Rafael Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcinho Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Fabrício Fernandes replaced Fábio Trevisan. 76 minutes into the match, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Sabóia came free, but Loramendi Cabarcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Couto in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loramendi Cabarcos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Couto took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loramendi Cabarcos. Loramendi Cabarcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rafael Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Couto in the 84th minute of play forced E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Rafael Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Cabarcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fumanchu Ponta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Meleșcanu made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedrinho Paranaense. Loramendi Cabarcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Rafael Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loramendi Cabarcos. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
