Laércio Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. Fiori Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Penha in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Laércio Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fiori Koehler was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Fiori Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Vale. 47 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Atak Sehriyar came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atak Sehriyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Laércio Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a little luck, Alvinegro Carioca's Fiori Koehler got control of the ball when Laércio Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mickaël Maris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everton Cebollero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Heitor Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the game Andrézinho Vaz made a throw-in which Carolo Cambranes played forward. 69 minutes into the match, Laércio Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fiori Koehler. Alvinegro Carioca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Laércio Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fiori Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Laércio Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Heitor Ferreira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardinho Pirani in the 88 minute of the game. Carolo Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Koehler having to interfere. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everton Cebollero in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nova Iguaçu MZFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
