With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiori Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Laércio Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fiori Koehler. The goal made the score 1-0. A hard shot 18 in the game by Laércio Penha from a close distance when the talented Fiori Koehler managed to make a qualified save. Alvinegro Carioca's players were relieved. In the 19th minute Bruno Africano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Laércio Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvinegro Carioca's Fiori Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Heitor Ferreira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atak Sehriyar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bruno Africano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Cambranes. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Fábio de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Pirani got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Everton Cebollero. Fiori Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Penha in the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Africano got free with Mickaël Maris in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laércio Penha took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Koehler. Fiori Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 75 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Everton Cebollero. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Fiori Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alvinegro Carioca's zone, Laércio Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Koehler came out of the goal and Laércio Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Penha in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Laércio Penha notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Alvinegro Carioca's Fiori Koehler. Fiori Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Laércio Penha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
