In the 23rd minute, Vincent Solera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lesardo Alavedra in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garibaldo Quijana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's Lesardo Alavedra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garibaldo Quijana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Solera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calisto Abril in the 54th minute of play forced Deportivo Alavés's goalkeeper Evander Zabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Abril came free, but Evander Zabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Solera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Garibaldo Quijana made a huge save. When Lesardo Alavedra came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Deportivo Alavés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lesardo Alavedra couldn't finish the play. Fillos de Breogán's Xesus Galaiko was substituted for Calisto Abril. When Vincent Solera fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Alavés's protests and gave Vincent Solera a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Deportivo Alavés got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Solera. The audience was convinced that Orti Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evander Zabel was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Orti Sánchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evander Zabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Xoan Galaiko replaced Xesus Galaiko. Xoan Galaiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evander Zabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Deportivo Alavés succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fillos de Breogán had controlled the match.
