Nilmar Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilmar Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mikel Bravo made a huge save. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xulian Aguilo in the 13th minute of play. Nilmar Marinho scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikel Bravo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dani Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Harendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mikel Bravo was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Nilmar Marinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nilmar Marinho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulian Aguilo in the 28th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Hernández took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulian Aguilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chivos de Punto Fijo booed when !Pabellon Ourense C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baudilio Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Mikel Bravo made a huge save. Heli Sánchez got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xulian Aguilo. Mikel Bravo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anders Ståhlman. After some careless play in the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. defense, Nilmar Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikel Bravo. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikel Bravo should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikel Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 65th minute of the match. Dani Hernández took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikel Bravo having to make a save. In the 69th minute Nilmar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikel Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. !Pabellon Ourense C.F. made a substitution. Sotero Quiroga replaced Luciano Unzueta. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Filip Bochinski replaced Pier Kopacz. In the 79th minute, Pere Bombardier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikel Bravo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to !Pabellon Ourense C.F. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tonio Mondejar hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Cezary Makomaski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikel Bravo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Cezary Makomaski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Mikel Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mannuel Ser, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Cezary Makomaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikel Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Bochinski in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Juan Torrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikel Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Chivos de Punto Fijo were the better team. Chivos de Punto Fijo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
