Olimpia HSB were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after B-ce Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Morientes took the corner. The corner ended in Fernando Morientes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but B-ce Team's Metod Volmut did a great save. Artur Walczak took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Metod Volmut. Metod Volmut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B-ce Team's goalie prevented a goal. Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Metod Volmut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dzidris Chan in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Mirotić in the 23rd minute of play forced B-ce Team's goalkeeper Metod Volmut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Fabian Czeszejko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B-ce Team's Metod Volmut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ludomil Cetnar fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored B-ce Team's protests and gave Ludomil Cetnar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, B-ce Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Cetnar to maneuver through the defense. Metod Volmut was a little too slow when Fabian Czeszejko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Slawomir Dresik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. B-ce Team's Metod Volmut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 36th minute of play. Metod Volmut came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko. But to his dismay, Fabian Czeszejko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. B-ce Team's Metod Volmut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 40th minute of play. Olimpia HSB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Morientes in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd match minute, Olimpia HSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Vellito to maneuver through the defense. If Nikola Mirotić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slawomir Dresik made a kick off. Metod Volmut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 63rd minute of play. Fabian Czeszejko scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Metod Volmut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B-ce Team's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to B-ce Team getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ludomil Cetnar hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes B-ce Team got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Cetnar. Olimpia HSB's Zbyszko Skorny was substituted for Artur Walczak. In the 73rd minute, Ludomil Cetnar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Volmut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. B-ce Team's Leszek Trzenzalski was substituted for Ludomil Cetnar. Olimpia HSB were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after B-ce Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Morientes took the corner. 84 minutes into the match, B-ce Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Pietrowiak came free, but Metod Volmut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metod Volmut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 88th minute of play. Metod Volmut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jacek Pietrowiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Metod Volmut was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
