Ersen Durmus's late challenge caught a KS Olimpia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ersen Durmus helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Rega Merida CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KS Olimpia Warszawa:s goal. Konstanty Wawro went to the wrong direction when Damazy Joks was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Sârban got free with Gigel Botescu in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Konstanty Wawro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. 17 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Knopek came free, but Gigel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Abdulhamit Beycan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rega Merida CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulhamit Beycan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Botescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konstanty Wawro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Joks went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Gigel Botescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Knopek in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rega Merida CF's Elpidio Umbruso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Konstanty Wawro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks. But to his dismay, Damazy Joks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 38thth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamit Beycan in the 46th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Elpidio Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damazy Joks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ersen Durmus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Lachezar Tetevenski replaced Hektor Fitrakis. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rega Merida CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Walery Glapiak was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Olimpia Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to KS Olimpia Warszawa's Emilio Sesse getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Konstanty Wawro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Emilio Sesse sent off a good shot on target. Konstanty Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damazy Joks struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Konstanty Wawro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. Gigel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sharma Sharma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstanty Wawro was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 95 minutes of play, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigel Botescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KS Olimpia Warszawa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
