Serter Sadik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derman Cruchet in the 14th minute of play. Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Gurgul in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Zbyszko Frankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of LKS Wisła Szczucin booed when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Angelin Mamani scored to the left of an out of position Jan Basaik, making the score, 1-2. With a little luck, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik got control of the ball when Gilbert Pusiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Niculae Ghionea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edward Lato, made in the 27th minute of the game. Jan Basaik made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Slawomir Peszko sent off a good shot on target. If Gigel Hidișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Basaik made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gilbert Pusiak sent off a good shot on target. Slawomir Peszko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jan Basaik made a huge save. Jan Basaik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Hidișan in the 44th minute. Gigel Hidișan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Jan Basaik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Pusiak got free with Jan Basaik in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Pusiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Peszko in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Derman Cruchet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serter Sadik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, LKS Wisła Szczucin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelin Mamani to maneuver through the defense. Derman Cruchet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Sadik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Pusiak in the 68th minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
