An unexpectedly hard shot by Derman Cruchet in the 2nd minute of play forced FlashField Bielsko-Biała's goalkeeper Karol Ciempa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kurt Österberg sped through FlashField Bielsko-Biała's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karol Ciempa. Karol Ciempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derman Cruchet, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FlashField Bielsko-Biała's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remigiusz Lamczyks short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Jan Basaik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Remigiusz Lamczyk put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Basaik. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jan Basaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Derman Cruchet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karol Ciempa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Remigiusz Lamczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Derman Cruchet managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's supporters rose to their feet, but Derman Cruchet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Ciempa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
