Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin van Elderen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Scorpions United were awarded a corner. Abay Şikel went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 8th minute, Steven Homan made a precise shot to the right of Han Zhen Han. Scorpions United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Scorpions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roar Magnus to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Han Zhen Han prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Steven Homan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Han Zhen Han, 2-0. Steven Homan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Han Zhen Han made a huge save. SV Balverliefd were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Scorpions United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix van As took the corner. SV Balverliefd's Felix van As was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Han Zhen Han in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Steven Homan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Han Zhen Han tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Han Zhen Han made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Homan in the 23rd minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Steven Homan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Homan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 37th minute of play forced Scorpions United's goalkeeper Han Zhen Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Cortens in the 44th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Scorpions United got a freekick which was hit by Evert Gustafsson.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Homan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Scorpions United's Evert Gustafsson got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Steven Homan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Han Zhen Han was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Steven Homan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Han Zhen Han was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 66th minute of play forced Scorpions United's goalkeeper Han Zhen Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Scorpions United's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Homan came free, but Han Zhen Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix van As struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Han Zhen Han didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Balverliefd. With 76 minutes on the clock, Marco Van Aerschot commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Scorpions United! Han Zhen Han had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Steven Homan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Han Zhen Han took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stijn Olemans kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Han Zhen Han saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 87th minute of play forced Scorpions United's goalkeeper Han Zhen Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Steven Homan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Balverliefd's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven Homan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Han Zhen Han breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steven Homan scored 4-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Han Zhen Han, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the SV Balverliefd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
