With a little luck, SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout got control of the ball when Simon Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Albonico spun around in front of the goal 93 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SV Balverliefd's goal. In the 95th minute, Mauri Icardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haithabu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Haithabu FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
