Leandro Soares scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Han Zhen Han, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Scorpions United's Han Zhen Han. Han Zhen Han was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Han Zhen Han came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares. But to his dismay, Leandro Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Han Zhen Han stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soares's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Han Zhen Han showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 30th minute of the match. Leandro Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Han Zhen Han having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Jens van Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Han Zhen Han was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fc Benefica's David Wilmink quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evert Gustafsson, made in the 37th minute of the game. Han Zhen Han made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Han Zhen Han saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by David Wilmink. In the 48th minute Scorpions United were awarded a corner. Abay Şikel went to the cornerflag to take it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Soares was the one to do the kick off. The Fc Benefica fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Taco Uebels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 64 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Han Zhen Han, 1-7. 75 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Han Zhen Han, 1-8. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Leandro Soares took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Han Zhen Han to make any attempt to save it. Scorpions United's Han Zhen Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 87th minute of play. Leandro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Scorpions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Han Zhen Han came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Fc Benefica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Scorpions United throughout the match.
