Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) FFC Merainies 03's Pepijn Hummel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pepijn Hummel scored 1-0 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harmen Hilkes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jörgen Kjellqvist, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pepijn Hummel could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which César Sousa however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilco Keldermans in the 17th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Decathlon Dudes were awarded a corner. Luuk Theunissen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FFC Merainies 03's goalie and right to Jonas Vingegaard. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FFC Merainies 03's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pepijn Hummel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. César Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Botello. In the 32nd minute Juan Ayuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by FFC Merainies 03's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luuk Theunissen was slow to take the kick. During this time Decathlon Dudes's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luuk Theunissen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute Decathlon Dudes were awarded a corner. Luuk Theunissen went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Ayuso was the one to do the kick off. Leon Craandijk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. César Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Craandijk in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Craandijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Zwartkruis to maneuver through the defense. Izaak Spijker hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Craandijk in the 64th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Craandijk in the 69th minute of play. Leon Craandijk scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute of the match, Wilco Keldermans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Botello in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Simon Hilhorst dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu, 5-1. In the 93rd minute, Decathlon Dudes's Harmen Hilkes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Harmen Hilkes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Decathlon Dudes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Harmen Hilkes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 94 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Harmen Hilkes. In the 95th minute Fabio Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FFC Merainies 03 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
