After 6 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Bob Thielens. The audience was convinced that Mathias-Alexander Jamieson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julius Vanneste was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After some careless play in the SK Gullegem defense, Joop Hollandts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urmas Känsäkangas should have stopped the shot. In the 16th play minute Hannes Jamieson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julius Vanneste. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Hannes Jamieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Vanneste came out of the goal and Hannes Jamieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson had several of the Limburg United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Julius Vanneste as he didn't even see the shot coming. Douglas Debecker kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute SK Gullegem were awarded a corner. Bruno Renan went to the cornerflag to take it. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Douglas Debecker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Debecker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Edward Scigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julius Vanneste came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson. But to his dismay, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hannes Jamieson was the one to do the kick off. Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Hollandts in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 67th minute of play. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Debecker in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Standaerts to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Limburg United's corner Gunter Jansens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Urmas Känsäkangas quite easily take care of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Jamieson came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
