The corner ended in Henning Ekström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas did a great save. 93 minutes into the game, Menelaos Markos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Gullegem the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Menelaos Markos got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
