An unexpectedly hard shot by Warman de Jager in the 6th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warman de Jager struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. Leendert Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 10th minute of play. When Edward Scigan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Urmas Känsäkangas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Jamieson came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netzach Nieth's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Netzach Nieth helped the player get up and apologised. Leendert Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhou Kang Cheng got free with Urmas Känsäkangas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The corner ended in Netzach Nieth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas did a great save. In the 87th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhou Kang Cheng in the 87th minute of the match. Bruno Renan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Albertus FC's Warman de Jager made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urmas Känsäkangas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Warman de Jager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Warman de Jager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Albertus FC had won after a very even match.
