Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jullian Vranx got the match started through his kick off. Jullian Vranx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Stein Spoelberch made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Phillipe Soetemans got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunter Mesmaekers to maneuver through the defense. Gunter Mesmaekers hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jullian Vranx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stein Spoelberch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Şevket Çağa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Van Linthout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şevket Çağa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willy Van Linthout. Willy Van Linthout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menelaos Markos in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Bruly's Jullian Vranx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stein Spoelberch. Stein Spoelberch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Brent Nelleboedske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Willy Van Linthout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Jullian Vranx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stein Spoelberch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jullian Vranx in the 39th minute. After 39 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Brent Nelleboedske. Club Brugge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jullian Vranx scored to the left of an out of position Stein Spoelberch, making the score, 2-1. When Club Brugge's Şevket Çağa in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruly's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Club Brugge defense, Jullian Vranx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stein Spoelberch. The Club Brugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stein Spoelberch should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Şevket Çağa got free with Willy Van Linthout in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pieter Van Landewijck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Van Linthout having to interfere. Club Brugge made a substitution. King Eken replaced Şevket Çağa. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Henning Ekström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Vander during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Toninho Vander got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Bruly's Willy Van Linthout got control of the ball when King Eken tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Eken. Gunter Mesmaekers's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunter Mesmaekers helped the player get up and apologised. Club Brugge's Jan-Simon Elsen was substituted for 孔磊傲. In the 75th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunter Mesmaekers to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Jan-Simon Elsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Van Linthout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Vranx in the 79th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Gunter Mesmaekers. Willy Van Linthout was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Simon Elsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 85 minute of play. The throw-in from Gunter Mesmaekers in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bruly's Thys Mangelschot. Bruly's Jullian Vranx got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillipe Soetemans to maneuver through the defense. King Eken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Willy Van Linthout made a huge save.
