In the 2nd minute Hannes Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunter Jansens in the 5th minute. Douglas Debecker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julius Vanneste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 11th minute of play. Joop Hollandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmas Känsäkangas having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julius Vanneste was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anios Karaoulanis went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Atarratze came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Vanneste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 29th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julius Vanneste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julius Vanneste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Atarratze in the 37th minute of the match. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Thielens in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 41st minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joop Hollandts to make the kick off. In the 71st minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julius Vanneste. The goal made the score 1-4. Anthony Standaerts hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bruno Renan took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Vanneste. Julius Vanneste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bram Jamieson got free with Julius Vanneste in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson. Hannes Jamieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacky Jamieson to maneuver through the defense. Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Hollandts in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Gullegem's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gunter Jansens was slow to take the kick. During this time Limburg United's players had a chance to rest. 90 minutes into the game, SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius Vanneste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 93 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Jacky Jamieson.
