In the 9th minute of the match Edgar Merenga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislaw Tyszka skillfully saved the ball. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ankaios Garofalis in the 11th minute of play. Warman de Jager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Stanislaw Tyszka made a huge save. After 17 minutes of play, Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Ankaios Garofalis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Stroobos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Warman de Jager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Tyszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Cristo Guzman in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Dejan Attard. 38 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ankaios Garofalis came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Mesías in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Stroobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Stanislaw Tyszka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Gebrüdersdorfer SV from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Lionel Mesías cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ted Stroobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ankaios Garofalis made a kick off. Cristo Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ankaios Garofalis got free with Ted Stroobos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertus FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Lionel Mesías scored to the left of an out of position Ted Stroobos, making the score, 2-6.
