Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahdet Ulumeriç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herman Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arian Beqaj having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahdet Ulumeriç got free with Jean-Louis Van Bever in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademir Rodrigues made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vahdet Ulumeriç immediately put the ball in play. When Vahdet Ulumeriç came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Beek City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahdet Ulumeriç couldn't finish the play. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Dé 武松 replaced Eugenio Cirulli. 74 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Bator came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
